Internal Sales Executive
Thornbury, Gloucestershire

We are looking for an ambitious, high calibre, talented sales professional to provide a critical function within our sales team.  The role is office-based, working as part of the sales team, and reporting directly to the Sales Manager.  It requires a high level of personal organisation and discipline with the ability to take ownership and responsibility for targets.

We are looking for a proactive individual with plumbing experience to join us and use their skills in an entirely different way by protecting people from Legionnaires’ disease.

The Benefits
  • Starting salary £25K+ negotiable depending on skills and experience

  • Hours – Monday to Friday 8.30 to 5pm 37.5 hours per week
The Role

As a successful sales professional you will be used to following sales processes to provide a smooth and efficient service to customers, whilst being able to identify and maximise every sales opportunity that is presented along the way.

You will often be the first point of contact for new business enquiries, so a friendly, welcoming, and professional approach is important to ensure that we give the right first impression, and we responded to every enquiry in a timely manner.

In addition to handling new business enquiries, you will proactively manage your time across various workstreams within the sales function. Tasks will include preparing and chasing quotes, renewing contracts, and providing general administrative support to the wider sales team, so you will need to be very organised and have excellent time management skills.

About You

To join the sales team, you’ll need:

  • Minimum of 2 years of sales experience in a B2B role
  • Proven track record of generating new business.
  • Excellent administration and organisational skills.
  • High level IT skills in Microsoft office 365
  • Ability to demonstrate technical understanding.
  • Great communication skills
  • To be organised and professional
  • A positive, can-do attitude

A science, business or marketing degree would be an advantage but not essential.

The Role

As a Water Hygiene Technician / Plumber, you will work as part of a small, dedicated team to prevent and control the risk of Legionella bacteria.

Working at sites throughout the South West and South Wales, you’ll enjoy talking with customers and tackling different challenges on a daily basis. You will be required to stay away from home on occasion.

About You

To join our team as a Water Hygiene Technician / Plumber, you’ll need:

  • A wealth of plumbing experience
  • The desire to move on from a domestic plumbing environment
  • Great communication skills for talking with customers
  • To be organised and professional
  • A positive, can-do attitude

Experience of any of the following would be beneficial: TMV servicing, internal calorifier inspections, dead-leg removals and possibly BS8558 disinfection and flushing or water softener services.
