Dantek Environmental has substantial experience and expertise in specialized chemical cleaning techniques. We are particularly active in pre- commission / clean-up flushing of closed heating systems and calorifier descaling. The internal surfaces of new heating and chilled systems are invariably contaminated with greasy residues, welding flux and other debris from the fabrication process. It is therefore recommended that all newly installed systems are subject to a chemical clean and flushing process, before being put into service. This is also a requirement of many boiler manufacturers to validate the warranty. Systems which are already in use may also require chemical cleaning when build up of corrosion by products or excessive scaling cause significant reductions in heat transfer and ultimately the efficiency of the plant. Dantek utilize the latest generation of Kamco power flushing pumps to facilitate fast and effective cleaning of heating systems. The Kamco units are designed to power flush heating systems with minimal dismantling, by circulating water and flushing chemicals at high velocity, and then purging the dirty water from the system with a high flow of fresh, clean, water. Dantek also supply and dose a full range of scale and corrosion inhibitors for dosing once the clean & flush is complete.
