Vauxhall Motor Plant Luton

David Edwards is spending over 30 days working on Dantek’s largest single-site legionella risk assessment at the Vauxhall Motor Plant for vans in Luton.
One of the original buildings claimed to be the largest freestanding building in Europe when it was built as a munitions factory in the 2nd World War. Today the Luton site has over 1000 staff and produces 67,000 vans per year.

David said “the holding tanks are the largest I have seen in my career at over 500 tonnes, and I was told they use submersibles to carry out internal checks.”

Dantek are working with Mitie to provide expert technical legionella control services to Vauxhall.
